Mostly the hookers.
My front page is just flooded with porn. I want the option to view NSFW subs, but not have them shoved in my goddamn face.
That’s how Reddit was too before the push for investor money. R/all had porn. They eventually buried it all.
Make subscribed your default view, apps give you many options to hide and/or blur NSFW.
Are people not using the subscribed view??
I think some people want Moar Content so they go to All a lot. I start in Subscribed/Hot, Subscribed/New, before I go to All. If I need content because I’m bored, maybe New Comments.
Connect sometimes randomly throws me into All on launch.
Viewing all lets you find more stuff to add to your subscribed view.
Memmy’s NSFW settings work really well. If I forget to turn off hide before visiting a nsfw community, it tells me there are no posts.
yeah, apps are doing great with toggles for nsfw.
Yeah, I don’t mind porn but I’m defederated on my own personal instance temporarily until more granular federation options are introduced. It clogs up all super fast.
I see no porn. I do have NSFW turned off in my settings. I dunno if it's lemmy wide thing or exclusive to connect.
maybe your instance just defederated with a bunch of them.
Kbin has a disappointing lack of porn. I think it just struggles to hit the front page. Had to make my horny account on a different instance.
