I can get it to run just fine, it just looks like a game from the 1990s if only the colors brown, more brown and poop brown were used. I'm sure it's a great game but since the graphics make me throw up 20 mins in and there are no accessibility options I will never get to play it.

Give them time to lobby and get a friendlier judge and try again.

Also more of a punishment, they don't like Rock Spiders/Pedophiles in Australian prisons anymore than they do in US prisons.

10 years last July almost 400k karma. I'd like to say I left for all sorts of noble reasons to do with awards or API, but mostly I just left because Lemmy is a nicer space to hang out in and reminds me of my early days on the internet with BBSs and the like. On Reddit as an older woman we are constantly made aware it's not a space where we are really wanted, though there are a lot more of us on there in our own little niches than I think a lot of younger male users realise. So I'm here hoping Lemmy will continue to feel more open to everyone, and if it doesn't hell I'll start a server for us old farts.

Not a lot of people realise that the lidocaine you get at the dentists also contains epinephrine to make it last long. Which can play merry hell with your blood pressure. I can't have epinephrine for other medical reasons besides the way it messes with your blood pressure and honestly I prefer it, I'm numb long enough to do the surgery and it's all gone in half an hour or so instead of a numb face for half the day.

Top 6 Hours seems to change the most for me so that's the one I use, I only check out Lemmy a couple of times a day with my morning and afternoon coffees. Active when I want to deep dive into comments. and if I was here all the time then new would be my sort preference.

Would you pay what it costs to make. Because they make them, but you're not going to find them at Best Buy on an 18 month payment plan. They're going to start at $7k on steep sale for the smallest model if you're lucky and work their way up in price. Everyone wants long lasting products, they just want them in made in China out of plastic component prices.

I have 986 subscriptions, most are small creators that don't post often. I have notifications for the key ones that I really don't want to miss.

Because the 400 pay a metric fucktonne of money to convince you that they aren't greedy.

Stay at home wife. I used to work as a bookkeeper, now dealing with some health issues. However I am 55 and have used computers since as long as i can remember, I learned how to use punch cards in what you yanks would call middle school. So I don't work in tech, but it doesn't bother me to learn new things. Lemmy reminds me of the good old days of BBS and just trying things out to see what stuck.
