I hope Ukranians don't overextend when all they do is want to divert Russian troops, as Russia has many more reserves. Only advantage is this front wasn't prepared by Russians for an attack so they are surprised
Some german politicians have also tried time and time again to establish data retention policies because "think of the kids" argument blablabla. But so far they have failed to do that as it was proclaimed unconstitutional by our federal court. Some politicians play with the idea from time to time tho.
Honestly at least they'd be forced to revamp their business model and focus on their users. I'd willingly donate to them monthly if it went to firefox directly and they acted in our interest accordingly
Looks really cool. I hope we don't have the overreliance on one rendering engine in the future. Once one or the other comes out I'll definitely try it out.
I feel like this argument is fair enough. I think a pop-up informing the user about it and how to opt out is sufficient.
Google just maliciously makes their websites work way worse on Firefox. For YouTube I personally just use FreeTube on desktop and Tubular (A NewPipe fork) on Android so I never have to interact with that goddamn website
The redesign is actually what convinced me to switch to Thunderbird. Otherwise I would've never used it since for me it was an eyesore!
Thunderbird with the Proton Mail Bridge on desktop, Proton Mail client on mobile although I'd prefer to have all my mails on K9 since I have multiple mail accounts and haven't fully migrated from gmail.
As long as they just use it for their community and don't fucking lock documentation behind discord I don't really care. But this trend has been so annoying. Due to this I'm in so many servers I have to quit a server just to join a new one
Bro I ain't writing a doctors thesis to disprove a commie since I know my points stand and I never actually expected to convince you but just through its interesting to see different views. And you're acting like my opinion is worth nothing. Have a good one mate!
Nah i just took them as sources. You used wikipedia as a source as well. What do you know about me to be able to judge my knowledge just because your opinion differs from mine. I just used it since it was quick to find and quote and if I quoted western sources you'd probably say its propaganda or something.
I'm gonna address point one for now:
- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Excess_mortality_in_the_Soviet_Union_under_Joseph_Stalin I would say when it comes to human rights this is also enough to disprove that the USSR didn't ignore human rights:
- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_rights_in_the_Soviet_Union When it comes to the oil reliance: One of the greatest strengths of Soviet economy was its vast supplies of oil and gas; world oil prices quadrupled in the 1973โ1974 and rose again in 1979โ1981, making the energy sector the chief driver of the Soviet economy, and was used to cover multiple weaknesses
- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economy_of_the_Soviet_Union#1930%E2%80%931970 Considering China is also a totalitarian state that suppresses individual rights and only communist on paper I would argue its not a great example. When it comes to bad allocation of resources you just need to look at the chinese housing bubble
Also, as I said the US is not a good country for a western Social market economy with a good welfare state.
