Two million is hardly anything for retirement. If you’re in your 50s then that’s only 66k a year until you’re 80. Unless you’re about to die that’s an absolute pittance. If you’re younger then that’s even less per year. You can’t think of retirement as “oh I only need this much money”, you have to think of it as paying yourself your yearly salary until you die. Life expectancy has massively gone up, so has inflation. If you live to 65 in the USA you have an average extra expected years of 15-20, so up to 85 years life expectancy in certain states. If you’re retiring at 30 you’ll be looking at 55 years of paying yourself. If you want a decent “salary” you’re looking at at least 5.5 million.

You can see they just photoshopped out the railing on the side. Not even properly lol.

But why? Why not just text people? What does WhatsApp give you that’s worth handing over literally every private conversation to Facebook?

Same. I hate all these messaging apps people use. Unless you need security, then just use the one your phone already has. Otherwise use signal.

Man I’m so good at sleeping though. I get at least 5 hours a night, so that’s 40 a week! Woohoo!

Because it’s one of the most popular multi-tools on the planet? The only one more popular is Victorinox

No he didn’t. They literally sold it as “choosy developers choose gif”. It was part of the marketing to software devs. He didn’t feel the need to say anything on fucking stage until normies started using it and couldn’t understand context.

I mean that’s literally how it works. You pronounced the peanut butter with a soft J. You probably pronounce Lyft as Lift and JoS A Bank as Joseph A Bank. What a company chooses to name its product (gif was a product trying to be sold to software devs) they can choose however they want it to be pronounced. If you stop thinking of gif as a normal word and more as a product that was and continues to be sold then it makes a lot more sense why they literally gave it a catchphrase; “choosy developers choose gif”

lol daisy chaining your 3 5k monitors with your cell phone!

weird that the pixel doesn't allow display out. wonder if it caused massive battery problems or screen overheating or something. that's usually why they outright disable features like that.

Apple will definitely not sell a single type c cable that isn't capable of at least 30W PD, so they can charge a shit ton for them, even if the product will never use 30W charging. Actually not sure about that. I should go check my beats cable to see what PD it's capable of.

What's up with the Pixel's Type C impl?

I used DDG for like 2 years. Almost every single search I had to search in both DDG and then in Google since the results from DDG were terrible. I recently switched to Kagi and have only had to try to find something in Google twice, and neither time Google was able to find what I needed either. You're not just paying for no ads, you're paying for actual search engine results, whereas the other companies, you are the product.

The only things I've cared about using Kagi are the ability to completely block domains, lenses, bangs, and actual search results that get me what I need. The rest is just a bonus.

I did the trial for kagi and completely stopped using Google within 3 days. Kagi is so much better it’s easily worth it. And it has actually useful features unlike Google. It’s insane how long google sat on their haunches and waited to let others surpass them.
