I only came across a spare pair like 2 weeks ago, so I totally understand the confusion.

Mildly interesting update..

I wish the glasses case was neon yellow instead, because apparently blue is impossible to find in the dark. 🤷‍♂️

Late? I was early in the PC game controller community, around 2003 or so. Not only did I master game controllers, I heavily modified them as well.

Edit: Try playing Descent, then you might see why I modded my game controllers.

I do have a bright blue case, but that's where I keep my emergency backup glasses. That stays at home though, every time I lose my glasses seems to be when I'm staying the night at a friend's place..

I'm known to roll around in my sleep. And I've accidentally knocked my glasses off of my nightstand, apparently with my blanket, and couldn't find them for days.

On more than one occasion no less. Do you know how difficult it is to get anyone to help you find your glasses when everyone else thinks you're full of shit?

My vision is like 20/500 without glasses.

No. That just makes me more likely to lose my glasses. I usually just wear them, 24/7..

[-] over_clox@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago

The optional part was whether I wear my glasses while I sleep, as I usually have all my life, or place them on the nightstand..

I have to find my glasses. If your vision was so bad as mine that you can't find your own glasses, and you're two days out of work because they fell behind the night stand and you can't see to find them, you'd understand..

I hope you didn't turn back the odometer..

Yes, I know. The point is that people seeking privacy eventually won't be able to use their banking apps and other online financial accounts unless they're signed into Google Play to 'authenticate' the app.

AKA force you into letting them steal more of your private info..

For context, there are two stray dogs at our local city park that we can't outright adopt, apartment rules say no pets, but we've been doing our best within our means to care for them at the park in the meantime.

I've actually skipped work just to help a homeless guy get his beard trimmed. Bought him pizza too. Kinda hard to get anywhere in life when you look like shit.

Be kind to the homeless, they just need a helping hand here and there.

What would you do?

That's actually my old hairbrush. I just pressure washed it, so it's totally clean. The faded ends of the bristles are because the brush itself is over 25 years old.
