Is Generative AI really what is used here? I would've assumed a LLM to vastly outperform stuff like a GAN for a summary task? Or do we colloquially group those two under "generative AI?" But if we do then aren't basically all AI generative since making something is what we typically use code for? What would be an example of a non-generative AI then?

Eh. If you count CSGO when there are no official servers I think you need to count WC3 unofficial servers as well. There are workarounds to playing old WC3 online, just not through battle.net.

I was under the impression that they're all on Burning Crusade now and soon Wrath of the Lich King, but I don't really follow that scene anymore. But even Blizz vanilla WoW wasn't truly vanilla but I guess that's pretty moot.

I regularly check in on their site because BattleTech and Shadowrun are smack-dab-fucking-right-in-the-center of my gaming tastes. But BattleTech launched 2018 which is an absurd long time without a big new title for a developer that makes (very good) games in the A to AA scale. Lamplighters look OK but not a theme I particularly care for and I fail to see how it took 5+ years. And if their whole team worked on the BattleTech expansions, well then they're either much smaller than I thought or took it very chill.

How do you mean you can still play CSGO? There are no official servers and even installing and launching it is not straight forward at all? I'd akin that to saying you can still play Vanilla WoW and point to private servers, which is not what anyone means.

Especially considering the rhetoric from a few Israelis could be word for word out of Hitlers mouth if it was in German instead of Hebrew and about Jews and not Palestinians. It's shocking hearing holocaust survivors spread the same flavor of blind hate that lead to their own trauma.

Bizarre. You live through the Holocaust as a young kid and by the winter of your life you spout the same unnuanced hatred that lead to that event. Fire truly only begets more fire.

You could level up by adding uMatrix and plug any and all leaks of data, not just the big ones like ads and cookies. But then you're a bit into control freak territory.

That's a pretty insane delta from paste alone. Is everything truly equal otherwise? Ambient? Heat build up in the case? 5 degrees centigrade simply sounds too good to be true!

Bonus in my experience would be the team in question get 10-30% of the total to share. If we're talking a pure sales team it varies wildly however, I've seen everything from 10-50% to the team. In some industries sales people can make more than their CEO good years.

What? I refuse to believe a game director for one of the cornerstone RPG franchises, from a studio with excellent writing, especially character writing imo, would somehow have an epiphany playing FF VII? Especially if they played it 202X seeing how basically every story driven game post FF VII has taken inspiration from it or a game inspired by it (etc.).

EDIT: Oh I'm a silly goose, BG 2 not BG 3... Still BG 1 companions are imo more iconic than BG 2, but they did up the seriousness and reduced the stereotyping with 2 so they did improve, even if they didn't have that magical X factor that 1 did.

For sure, good optics even though I argue that this basically means poorer people aren't allowed to drive in the city only people rich enough to buy the right via a (relatively) expensive BEV. Sure the Renault Zoey exist and similar but on the whole BEVs are significantly more expensive.

As for noise this might be true at the low speeds of the city center but keep in mind that on high ways BEVs make more noise than ICE vehicles due to the aforementioned increased mass, on average. High speeds it's tyre friction and air friction which is the noise driver and not engine sounds.
