That would not work in my neighbourhood. Narrow sidewalks, very old and bumpy. And they would block a wheelchair user.

That's nice an all, if you're able. If you're disabled, having to go to a depot is terrible. And for bigger things like a mattress you'd need a car to pick them up. In my neighbourhood small packages (not boxes) are delivered by bike so those seem fine too.

My point is that it's not so clear cut. Yes, there's energy involved, but to me it seems worse for each person to own a car to to pick up packages than there being a "mail bus" that circles around the neighbourhood.

Been using lawnchair for years but there's some things I wish it had to make it perfect. Namely, I want to be able to sort the app drawer by most used.

I was in Denmark just the other day. In a super popular local cafe. I asked if the pesto avocado sandwich ws vegan. She was puzzled: hm yes of course, there's nothing in there that wouldn't be... So I pressed: but is the pesto vegan? Normal pesto contains cheese. She went to check, and it was normal pesto.

And FYI Denmark has great, free, education and social security. People also earn well, even the barista.

Yeah you can't trust vegan dishes in places that serve animal products if your life depends on it. They will absolutely serve you animal products and not give a damn. Just had a vegan brownie that tasted weirdly of milk powder send me to the toilet the whole day.
