It’s similar to geocaching and Pokémon Go because you have to visit the location to interact with it. There is also a whole team aspect.

I’ve recently switched from Geocaching to Ingress. It has very similar benefits and doesn’t require digging around a bunch of ivy.

The problem is, they are weirdos. You can’t make up stuff like the video of JD Vance in the donut shop. It’s hilarious.

And if you're not careful you can fuck up your fingers in either case

This doesn’t really seem like a meme (note: the name of this community).

Since you posted in multiple communities I’ll add my same reply as the others here:

I’m lucky if I get mail once a week. I literally get a pile of stuff with a rubber band around it once a week at best. I’m not in a rural area.

I was gifted a new Raspberry Pi. I already have a previous pihole setup and now looking for other ideas to run on my network.

I was considering a network monitoring tool. Any other suggestions?

IMO, The US has crumbling infrastructure, corrupt government, dangerous cities, and a lot of homelessness, among so many other problems. Hell, millions of people in the US don’t even have power right now.

Found a “class” on YouTube and this was some of many sentences in the lesson.

Edit: To save a click to imgur they slides say (both in English and Spanish):

  • "If you think education is expensive, wait till you see what ignorance costs you."
  • "The fact (that) nowadays fewer men smoke is a headache for the Chinese tobacco industry"
  • "If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it"
  • "The old cottage had only one bed, so we all took turns sleeping in it."
