Sorry for the potato quality photo. I would guess northern bobwhite quail, but they look darker than quail egg photos I'm seeing online.

stopped by my favorite birding spot after work and had these fellas fly in over my head. guest appearance by a great blue heron.

shot on sony a7siii with a tamron 150-500. all handheld and after the sun was behind the mountains, so you'll have to excuse some shakiness and focus issues.

This magpie was a very good model. They complied with all of my posing requests to give this wonderful golden hour shot :)

Sometimes you just have to take whatever space you can find! I shot these Pygmy Nuthatches over the holidays.
