I just meant that the term "intellectually gifted" is meaningless without context, but to each his own I suppose

Unless you can give me an exact specific definition of what "intellectually gifted" means in this context then all of this is just meaningless bullshit.

I'm no expert but I believe people usually take the Alford plea when they are going to be found guilty no matter what and want to at least try to get a lesser sentence

Get some big shipping envelopes, fill each one with as much junk mail as it will hold, mail them back to whichever companies send you the most junk mail. It works even better if any of the junk mail came with a prepaid return envelope.

Something run by Facebook is having issues? What a surprise...

I'm still amazed some people want Threads to show up in the Fediverse 🤢

does not carry penalties

So what's the point then?

Being rejected is worse. It's so definitive. Seeing them with someone else is just seeing them live their life, it has nothing to do with me. Being rejected always feels personal.

Except that people find a way to insert politics into almost every thread. You'd have to block three quarters of the site and about half the users lol

It's because new religions always cherry pick the parts they like of old religions and then eventually replace them entirely. Judaism itself was just made up from parts of Zoroastrianism and Hellenism and Babylonian beliefs.

It's all bullshit anyway so it hardly matters. Religions change as needed to meet the changing wants and needs of the people who follow them. A Christian from the time of the crusades would probably be horrified by what is considered to be Christianity today.

Looks like it's just for an extension cord. They probably make a fancy proprietary Black & Decker one for this but any regular cord that will fit should work fine

They're also comparing the ratings of a single episode of Penguin to the entire first season of The Acolyte

This came out really tasty! After destroying the first batch I figured out it works much better if you take out the little air flow grill plate from the bottom and just cook it directly on the pan.

I started by scrambling two eggs with some vanilla oat milk and a healthy amount of cinnamon. I preheated the air fryer to 380F and coated with just enough ghee butter to coat the bottom of the pan. I dunked the bread and let it cook for 8 minutes, flipping halfway through. It was still a little wetter than I liked so I flipped it one more time and gave it 3 more minutes at 400F

It came out with a crispy crust but still gooey in the middle! I had it with some maple syrup!
