A new die hard trilogy game still based on the original movie trilogy but using a modern engine and graphics

I get the games on epic but I haven't even bothered playing them because I game exclusively on linux and just have not bothered with lutris / heroic etc. Proton with steam is just effortless and after years of tinkering with wine back in the day I want the simplicity

I like both, depends on the mood. I like halo and SciFi fps games but the army propaganda ones such as cod got old pretty fast and are boring. RPGs I love them from chrono trigger to ff 7,8,9 and 10 to elder scrolls and mass effect.

FreeOTP+ is offline and in fdroid and let's you export the entries you have saved. No third party needed. Just back it up as a habit every time you add a new entry. Store the backup encrypted with gpg or veracrypt or whatever

Tails and another for storing random stuff, like a copy of documents when travelling.

I do this too but aim for 150 max. I use them until the wheels fall off usually. Current one is 6 years old while the previous one I had for 10 years and I bought that one second hand too😄. Better for your wallet and the environment.

I came across this as I needed to install some proprietary app to view a .pkpass file and I discovered this FOSS app instead that does the job and doesnt share the data with any third parties.

Anyway I'm just spreading the word.

The text below is copied from fdroid.

"Displays Passbook (*.pkpass) files & shows the Barcode (QR, PDF417 and AZTEC format). It can be used also when offline.

This app is a viewer for passes - a pass could be a e.g. boarding-pass for your next flight, a coupon for a nice hot beverage on the destination, a movie ticket, a membership card - there are a lot of possibilities. Basically it is a replacement for a piece of paper or plastic you would normally have to carry with you - so lets save some trees and reduce waste!

How does it work?

There are so called espass or pkpass files - you can open them with this app - e.g. when you receive them via email or get an Download-option. The most important content is the BarCode ( QR , AZTEC & PDF417which authorizes you most of the time - but it also has other interesting content like a description - often a time ( that you now can add to your calendar ) - often also locations ( to give you directions ) - just try It out! The app is offline usable once you downloaded the pass!"

With a comparison between apartheid South Africa and the Israel/Palestine conflict, this doc traces the future of one conflict from the past of another. Weaving the history of apartheid into the complex issues facing Israelis and Palestinians, it highlights the frighteningly similar laws and tools used by Israel and apartheid-era South Africa. It's a dark picture of the present but offers hope based on the peace that South Africa eventually found.

I know they are remastered on steam but I was wondering if anyone has played the ps2 ones in the last few years. How do they play ?

I was thinking to emulate them on steam deck and I'd be curious to hear your thoughts ?
