I swear this is the moto of engineers in general.
My motto is "if it ain't broke, keep fixing it 'til it is".
There is a very old joke I heard as a kid. It goes to a normal person if it's not broken don't fix it. To an engineer if it's not broken, it doesn't have enough features yet.
Anyone can design a bridge that stands. It takes an engineer to design a bridge that barely stands.
Don't think it's engineers but the guys from up top telling them to do stupid shit
