indentured servitude is when you work for someone, for a finite period of time

In practice, that's where the trouble lies and where it starts to bleed into slavery.

Turns out, getting paid in Amazon Bucks to spend in the Amazon Town Store isn't as great as it sounds on paper.

Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.
