I think France is correct and the EU should start investing in their defense. The United States cannot be looked as dependable anymore and should stop being seen as the world police. I mean FFS look at our police and ask yourself do you really want them as your protectors?
I'm not so sure people outside the US see our country as "police".
It's hard to ignore our support for Israel right now. Those are American bombs killing civilians over there.
It's American style policing, meaning they're looking out for corporate and rich people interests
