I don't have any other servers that i could run the whole time so it should just be based on one single device,

I did it with Lemmy Easy Deploy

I am currently looking for a fitting domain but I'm planning to actually get one as they are only 0,60€ for a .de for a year. I have an account at feddit.de as you may have seen so my data isn't really at the lemmy instance I'm making until I'm sure it works properly

btw what do you think about lemmy-easy-deploy, someone else suggested that

lemmy-easy-deploy is solid and very straightforward to use. The generated docker compose file is easy to understand and not much different than the one from the official lemmy repo, which means you can tinker with later (if you decided to learn more about docker compose). I think the author is pretty active in this community too.

Very nice i will try to use that first and maybe do the more complex version after i made myself a bit more familiar
