Where do you live that you pay more than $8 per liter ($30/gallon) of gas?

The moon, probably

Everyone forgets the maintenance and vehicle costs. Take the gas, multiple it by 3 to 5x, that's the rough cost.

If you are paying more than $120 per year in fluid changes/routine maintenance you are getting ripped off big time (huge).

And frankly there aren't maintenance fees you should be paying outside that.

Just about everything else is rated for 10 years including ceramic break pads.

If you are paying more than that on anything but a collector car, you are pouring money in to a pit that isn't worth it. Craig's list fixer uppers tend to do better at that point.

RIP your timing belt, accessory belt, shocks, tires, battery, brake pads, rotors, etc. And vehicle costs, don't forget that.
