american school system. decades of wrong education by specialising while not having broader knowledge and making education a side hustle while college football is their slave business.

this has led to a mostly degenrated society. an idiocracy.

the later those outlook, iphone and windows11 using ppl find a good home in a more guarded environment. makes fediverse a place that can grow. it is not mature yet as we all can see when looking at defederation drama. in the end you will be able to choose between the fully federated network or a "super" app like weechat.

HA removed Astetisk. What now? (www.home-assistant.io)

when i click the link i get forwarded to a bizarre corpo speak page that says nothing.

anyone know why this really happend or how to substitute? i'd rather downgrad HA then live without Asterisk integration. or is there a way to legacy that stuff?!

How to fix? (i.imgur.com)
submitted 10 months ago by yournamehere@lemm.ee to c/linux@lemmy.ml

So I installed Signal messenger and later needed pulse audio and lsp plugins. Now the search in the menu no longer finds Signal in search. :-( I have to go to "Internet -> Signal" to open it.

How to fix this?

When I look at Grafana here: https://grafana.com/legal/privacy-policy/

it says:

No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online.

and we not only know that this is some utter bullshit but also speaks volumes about the CEO and makes me wonder if they read what the courts just told scumbag LinkedIn?

I am a huge HA fan since dropping FHEM a few years ago and I am more than delighted about the progress overall in HA..specially year of voice....but I can't quite wrap my head around some stack I want to achieve. Maybe one of you has a basic idea how?

I use HA with whisper/piper etc. and right now I am stuck in making data from plain text information available in piper. Like I have a wiki or a txt or anything that would work and that document has loads of text...dunno...a receipe...or some history articles.... and now I need to extract a specific piece of information from said text.

Wakeword, can you please tell my how much salt is used.

or

Jasper, in which year did I buy that console?

I am able to run all my intends but it does not make sense to write a million to achive this. I also doubt chatGPT API is a good solution for a trivial thing like summarizing (like blinkest) a text of finding a specific info and also not like good with privacy.

Any suggestions? gpt4all and some API? Lists of intends? I mean it would be nice if I could just add a nextcloud instance and some addon will scrape the info for me there.

hi, i'm kinda out of ideas -maybe you know some selfhostable solution.

I want to monitor some of my pages for gdpr compliance and have reports on that.

So far i tried selenium container with k6, i tried selenium locally with some Python automation and even gave phantomJS with webXray a try. In any case sth. is missing...like selenium wont grab the thirdparty cookies, webxray code has outdated Python and so on.

You guys have any suggestion on how i could selfhost my own automated toolset to check entire webpages for all cookies and thirdpartyscripts? Ppl make changes which might have impact on the gdpr compliance and i dont want to check manually. How would you do it selfhosted?
