You know the latest news takes up the first few pages right? Link to actual articles or get blocked. I'm the only one in this convo that has provided links showing IDF killing israeli civilians. Why are you covering for Israel? See how stupid discussions get when you don't provide sources?

Israel has committed more than enough crimes against humanity. The only thing you are doing is providing propaganda so that the government in Israel can point to it as lies created to defame Jews. Provide sources, you are representing more than yourself when discussing this topic. I'm asking you to be better.

Provide links then. The last I heard of the music festival was that it was mis-attributed footage of a helicopter attack on Gaza on October 8. As for Sderot, are you referring to the bombing of the police station to eliminate Hamas members?

The original article talks specifically about flooding rice farming. https://www.straitstimes.com/world/europe/your-bowl-of-rice-is-hurting-the-climate-too

Apparently, flooding the field kills weeds but allows the rice plant to survive. The plant matter decomposes and releases methane gas. The article's main point is to bring awareness to a planting technique that doesn't produce methane gas. It's clickbait more than corps doing there "take individual responsibility" thing.

I've searched through a few of the countries that didn't sign the convention and they either manufacture or have bought large stocks of cluster bombs (India, Argentina, US, and Brazil). The trend seems self evident.

I still don't get why we are trying to justify unloading our backlog of dangerous cluster bombs onto Ukraine soil. Blood is on the hands of the lobbyists that wanted to clear out the warehouses full of cluster bombs. We can make more munitions that we have been sending, which will be less of a hazard to Ukrainian farmers.

I still don't get why Lemmy instances don't default to "Hot". Kbin does it right by going with "Hot" as default. All "Active" does is dog pile on posts that are almost a day old, sometimes even older than that.

You know what, what's even the point of "Active" at this point with so many active users?
