Countless similiar situations like this is the reason why I find it difficult to help people/groups that display zero-sum behaviour because even if you help them there's no telling if they'll attack you in return

I'd rather spend my time helping people/organizations that are already trustworthy or have proven to be reciprocal towards others regardless of status or wealth

The name of this protein was inspired by Pikachu's "lightning-fast moves".

honestly, fair enough lol

@Deceptichum@quokk.au thanks for sharing btw

well fuck you Sam Altman

Losing Naomi Wu to the CCP was a catastrophic loss to the FOSS community, I remember that she once went directly to confront a company (I think located in China) to demand for the release of their modified version of a copyleft software

I hope she's still alive and doing well

you can still edit the link to remove the timestamp btw~

Does this mean review/benchmarking sites need to reevaluate all chips after os updates or at least publish the versions used while testing?

pretty much yeah as the performance gains are significant enough to impact a user's buying decision.

To not update previous benchmarks is to do buyers a disservice as they would no longer be able to make their best informed buying decisions, the only ones who would benefit from a situation like this would be the corporations for no reason

whenever possible I buy games from Itch.io as some devs provide Steam keys alongside their source code and packaged versions for most (if not all) platforms which is usually: [Windows, Linux, Android]

not sure about the majority of the software but I'd recommend FreeCad as an alt to Solidworks

  • I've heard they're about to hit their 1.0 release sometime in the near future
