Most of the stuff here can be avoided by using quotes for strings..

Yeah but Haskell is mostly used by mathematicians..

People hate hearing that they are bad coders 😂

You and the other guy are saying to focus on writing code with less indentation and using smaller methods, and you both got downvoted.

I fully agree, small methods all the way, and when that's not possible it's time to refactor into possibility!

But it's not a markup language.. It's for data serialisation..

For real. If it was that hard to pull then people would be dropping live grenades by accident even more than they currently are.

To be fair they said "aiming two guns at once is hardly possible". Means it is with enough practice? Lol. I hate this guide, full of half-truths and misinfo, not to mention completely withholding explanations.

I don't like this, I'd prefer if they provided a source or explanation. "A phone call takes up to an hour to trace"? Really? How do we even trace phone calls? Why doesn't a defibrillator work? It's not movies that taught us that! School taught me that shit!

Badass or stupid and incompetent? Take your pick lol

I watched both, liked both. I don't think it's that deep. It was just The Lion King with new voices and new visuals.

What do people generally dislike about it? Just that it's a remake of a film?

For me it just depends on what I expect. They're all relatively the same thing. As long as the status code is appropriate (403), it doesn't matter whether it's JSON or plaintext. Ideally the API would respect and handle the request header, and return plaintext if you request plaintext.

Lol. I hear ya, but I have taken like 6 pills at once using the water first method. That's fair, to each their own!

[-] hex@programming.dev 1 points 2 weeks ago

Yeah! This is it. The amount of people who just put the pill in their mouth and THEN drink water surprises me. Every time I've done that with a specific type of pill, it would leave some extremely bitter powder on my tongue! Easily avoidable by putting water in first.
