Youtube comments are still a meme. Useless vapid nonsense isn't much better than mean comments. Looking at the YouTube comments section is always a mistake.

In the presentation they mentioned that the whole zone resets if you die to the boss, preventing you from grinding down its health. That implies to me that they want them to be a more significant part of the game.

You said it perfectly, it's his reputation as a good actor, not the good acting itself. Stars get payed a ludicrous amount of money, you can easily find a decent actor for less and have plenty to spare to train them up.

The face is everything, they plaster it all over the advertising and it works. People will talk about the new movie: "oh and it has actor C in it" "in that case I'll take a look"

It's at its worst when a paper describes how they account for correlation or designed their experiment to confirm causation, but someone doesn't read the paper and says the line anyway.
