burn it in a usb stick before you nuke it to install linux

This is very very important unless you have another windows computer around. Took me a whole day to figure out how to properly burn a windows install USB from linux. It isn't straightforward.

Our neighborhood has a cat problem which means my garden has a cat problem. I've read online that some people spread chilli powder on their soil to keep cats away but I'd really rather not do that.

Hopefully it's a common enough problem that someone here has found a better solution. Help please!

I was surprised to find Gemini had replaced assistant. It couldn't even add items to the shopping list. Thankfully one is able to revert the change.

First rain in a while around here. I noticed the ash tree in my backyard was oozing bubbles, had never seen that before. It turns out, it's a thing!
