If it didn't have the information, you would've said "YOU CLAIM THINGS WITHOUT PROOF, YOU'RE LYING!!1!1!1!1!1!1!" There's no winning against a mindset like this, because no matter what the victim does, they will not be trusted.

I have owned up to my mistake and noted that I did not think of my argument thoroughly here, as noted by how Adriaan said this.

However, all I was attempting to say was that I was concerned over what the implication of this law was, and another comment did raise the concern that, instead of destroying the clothes altogether, they would still be dumped. At least not destroyed anymore, just left there to rot.

what were you thinking when you thought of your first version? that sounds like a creepy scenario. what if I don’t want to see it and it’s everywhere. I could click on “I’m Not Interested” and flood social media with reports, but if there are “billions on billions” of AI nudes, then who would be able to stop them from being seen in their feed? I’d say that, while locking them up won’t change the sexist system which pushes this behavior, it is a far less creepy and weird scenario than having billions of unconsensual nudes online.

this was so sweet to read through. I don’t think people really understand just how helpful music can be, whether it’s performing or even just listening to it. whenever I feel down, I listen to some bedroom pop and it just feels like an absolute musical hug and as someone who can struggle with emotional regulation, it really helps me feel better. I hope his initiative becomes more popular, and I wish I was around places where they had this thing because it’d be so fun to learn how to play an instrument.

This made me think of a scenario: a countrymapper kid grows up and becomes a vlogger. Should Porsche have made tanks, they’d flex with a Porsche tank instead of a Porsche car.

yeah, I didn’t look into it deeply, my bad.

so in my country (I’m European, specifically Romanian) we have this streaming service called SkyShowtime. guess what? its DRM is so bad that SkyShowtime just won’t work beyond being on the website. it won’t play anything to you.

that is because either Peacock or Paramount+ are also DRM-blocked, because all there is to it is Peacock and Paramount+ with the Commonwealth Sky and Showtime brands that NBCUniversal and Paramount are respectively owning, and they combined it together and sell it to countries with lesser purchasing power parity, such as Romania.

the point and you are on a parallel path, separated by a thick wall. if only that wall hadn’t existed and you’d understand the fact Alessandra is proving your point.
