The overlap is the "space lasers" part, and it's a joke.

It was already made, and it's over now, meaning you're the one perpetuating this shift in focus, look at the responses you generated.

Do you think this was in Ukraine or something..? It's in the US. It was likely loaded with tannerite, and it was likely done for the "yeeehawww" of it, based on the channel's content.

A gasoline explosion would be fake..?

I think the real-life photo of like a dozen kids in a line in front of the hood and completely invisible from the driver's seat of the truck is more impacting. It's insane. People that drive trucks like that are seriously compensating for something.

I hate Elon Musk, so I don't want to get into a whole thing about it, but the Model 3 and Y have some of the shortest front blind spots of all makes and models of vehicle, largely because their is no engine under the hood allowing for a short and low front end. I couldn't find any data for other all-electric vehicles, but I would assume any fully electric car would be similar.

Bicycles have zero blind spot in front.

Well put it this way: Kamala Harris, the democratic presidential nominee, just made clear in the debate that she and her VP nominee Walz are both gun owners because it will help their campaign. So...

There are for more guns than people in the United States. I had someone "roll coal" on me a few weeks ago while riding my bike. It was as awful as you'd expect. People are awful to teachers and we pay them very little. And anti-immigrant sentiment is pretty strong at the moment. So, yes, basically everything referenced occurs in the US. Unless I'm missing something in particular you're talking about.

We don't usually pour oil on the ground and try to light it though. That's pretty hard, we usually just use gasoline.

Boring. Got into cab at Heathrow and wasn't given a firearm for protection by the driver for whatever reason. Rented a car later and they didn't have any lifted trucks. None of the cars could even roll coal!

I went to go and insult random teachers on the street, and people didn't join in with me and threaten their lives. They even defended them! Needles to say that made me even angrier I wasn't issued my standard citizen firearm.

In France, no one spoke English even though I spoke loudly and slowly. Naturally, I told them to go back where they're from. I poured oil on the ground and lit it on fire as a signal for other patriots, but sadly I was alone.

The one thing I liked about Europe was how they talked about and treated immigrants. Closest to home I felt during the whole trip. How disgusting and evil immigrants are was the one conversation where I could see who the real Americans are over there.

How are they not already sentenced and serving time?

[-] WoahWoah@lemmy.world 30 points 6 days ago

It's OK, we're dealing with this by repealing our child labor laws, so kids can work at the meat processing plant instead of some immigrant. Two birds, one stone.

Why are knife control laws so strong in the United States as opposed to gun control?

I was realizing it would be nice to have a knife with auto opening for boxes, etc., basically a switch blade or similar, and I found out that they are super illegal in my state (and/or there are length restrictions, or both sides of the blade can't be sharp, etc), but I can go into a sporting goods store and buy a pistol and ammo in under 30min.

Shooting open an Amazon box seems inefficient. What is up with restrictive knife-control laws??

Ok, so obviously no one here has done anything to make this world what it is. Wall Street, corporations, and racist social structures are why the world is how it is, and that is just the truth.

I don't understand why I should feel bad about anything when obviously all of these rich assholes and structures of oppression exist. I didn't make them.

Until the corporations and wealthy people change, why should I feel guilty or bad about things. This literally isn't my fault, they did this, so I just feel like I should be able to live my life and not have to worry about all this. Why can't I?

Someone else did this, but they were wrong: they mostly dissembled and half agreed.

I'll give you the truth. Post any comment, and I'll tell you that you're wrong.
