Yep. When trying to find the footage for the 2 disc dvd edition, they discovered it was all ruined sadly.

The producer once said at a comic con event that he had a VHS tape of a work print but nothing was ever mentioned again.

I believe Shout Factory had a good rummage when preparing their Blu-ray bit also came up empty.

I found a forum posting years ago where the second unit director described all the gory hell shots and how they used physically disabled people with missing limbs to achieve the effects. Sounded brutal.

The problem was Nintendo charged publishers more money for the larger carts. So a lot of publishers simply took the option of the smallest cheaper cards and made you download the rest.

Trying to preserve Switch games by buying the carts has been a bit pointless really. I know Diablo 3 was entirely on the cart, publishers were very pleased with that.

Living with a friend, in the first place after moving out of our parents places. He smoked weed but that didn't bother me. However, one night he invited in the local weed dealer and I was really concerned but he assured me it was ok.

We both worked at the same company, so came home at the same time a day or so later to find the front door was open. They smashed the small decorative window which allowed them to reach in and unlock and open the door.

I can't remember what they stole from my friend but I lost my GameCube, controllers and all the games. Also, my first portable minidisc player and a pair of cheap earphones I used with them which I absolutely loved. The wire was like string and rarely tangled.

I had a few imported US games and I thought they might give me the edge. I rang all the local game shops to see if anyone had tried to bulk sell the lot but I was unlucky.

Reading these replies , I'm going to have to watch some videos on Burnout 3. I played it back in the day but I'd forgotten things like aftertouch to wreck more vehicles.

I played through games 1 & 2 a few years back and I loved the Crash Junctions.

Having been playing Burnout: Paradise recently, I now see what's missing. Its a fun racer but stripped of a lot of what came before.

Lost in Space was one of the first DVDs I watched from start to finish including all the extras. I borrowed it from a friend as I had only one or two discs myself.

Its very interesting as there was an entire subplot cut out involving time bubbles on the planet. What fascinated me the most was that Jim Henson's Creature Workshop built a massive animatronic creature about 8 or 9ft tall. Remember that annoying CGI space monkey thing the girl has, it was that fully grown. And sadly, the entire sequence was cut from the film.

When I used to work in a supermarket, I hated the stupid customers. This is a classic example. One of the soft drink companies fairly regularly gave away 50% free.

Therefore, for the same price, the bottle would be 3 litres in size rather than 2.

The amount of people who didn't like that.

"Excuse me, where's the 2 litre bottle?" "Oh, it's the same price miss, you get an extra litre for free." "But I don't want 3 litres, I only want two!" Sigh!

I think I've just found my next watch. It looks more useful than my current Fitbit Versa. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.

Same as. It felt like watching a higher budget Power Rangers.

Even though it looks like the comic ➡️ live action ➡️ animation, I'll still give it a shot. At least they've spent more time on this than there usual straight to video stuff, which to me, looks cheap.

As much as I'm quite excited to see this film, should we really listen to a studio head promoting his own film? 😄

I'm currently playing through Rage and really enjoying it.

The races are fine and not that hard to win and I haven't touched a card game yet. I get enough money from selling all the junk I find as I play.

I'm regards to it's sequel, I'm very methodical (blame my autism 😁) and I played the game by competing all missions and side quests in one area before starting the next.

This side effect of this was that I upgraded the character so much, when I competed the final mission, it was so easy, I didn't realise it was the final mission and it took me by surprise!

The Crow remake first look images show Bill Skarsgard as Eric Draven and FKA twigs as the love of his life, Shelly

February 28th 2024, 10:56am

After spending more than a decade in development hell, a remake of The Crow (watch it HERE) has made its way through production and is set to receive a theatrical release, courtesy of Lionsgate, on June 7th. With that date just three months away, a trio of first look images have arrived online to show us what It star Bill Skarsgard and singer FKA twigs look like as the new versions of goth rocker Eric Draven and the love of his life, Shelly. These images originally showed up on Vanity Fair and can now be seen at the bottom of this article.

The film has the following synopsis: Soulmates Eric Draven (Skarsgard) and Shelly Webster (FKA twigs) are brutally murdered when the demons of her dark past catch up with them. Given the chance to save his true love by sacrificing himself, Eric sets out to seek merciless revenge on their killers, traversing the worlds of the living and the dead to put the wrong things right.

Rupert Sanders (Snow White and the Huntsman) directed this take on The Crow, working from a screenplay by Oscar nominee Zach Baylin (King Richard). The remake is produced by Victor Hadida, Molly Hassell, John Jencks, and Edward R. Pressman. Dan Farah serves as executive producer.

Speaking with Vanity Fair, Sanders revealed that he found the look for Skarsgard's Eric Draven by blending how Sanders looked in the '90s, "when we were squat-raving in London" with modern influences like Post Malone and Lil Peep. He said, "I think the beauty of Bill is that he has a disturbing beauty, and as he transforms through his loss he becomes this thing that even he can't control. It's that famous line: 'Whoever fights monsters must be careful that they don't become one.'"

As mentioned, Danny Huston (Yellowstone) plays the lead villain. Isabella Wei (1899), Laura Birn (A Walk Among the Tombstones), Sami Bouajila (The Bouncer), and Jordan Bolger (Peaky Blinders) are also in the cast.

Sanders told Vanity Fair that he was drawn to The Crow because it was an "opportunity to make a dark romance, something that dealt with loss, grief, and the ethereal veil between life and death and reaching through that. Look, I grew up listening to Joy Division and The Cure, and this movie is a bit like a Cure song---the beauty of melancholy."

Addressing the fact that the original The Crow featured an iconic performance by Brandon Lee, who was tragically killed during the production, Sanders said, "It's definitely something that we've always had in mind through the making of the film. Brandon was an original voice and I think he will always be synonymous with The Crow and I hope he's proud of what we've done and how we've brought the story back again. His soul is very much alive in this film. There's a real fragility and beauty to his version of the Crow, and I think Bill feels like he is a successor to that."

Well, they make so much money, it's no surprise I guess. But what can they do with the franchise after six films?

I don't know if I'm just wearing rose tinted glasses here but I'm sure film trailers are getting worse.

In the past couple of weeks we've had two trailers running for three minutes each, Fall Guy and Madame Web. What's worse is that each of these trailers feel like I'm watching an abridged version of the film. They'll be no surprises left. Netflix seem to be very good at this as well.

I mentioned the time because the rough average was around 2 to 2½ minutes long. It's slowly creeping up.

All I want is enough footage to get me excited with a hint of plot.

The Force Awakens and Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning teaser trailers were fantastic for grabbing my interest without revealing what was going on.

Yes, I know I could just avoid trailers altogether but I'm weak willed, I like a sneak peek.

What do you think?

I didn't realise all the OG boys would be back for this one. I'm excited.

Just posted by Jason Reitman over on Instagram

Known as Ghostbusters: Firehouse during production, one source has said the official title will be Frozen ~~Kingdom~~ Empire.

I guess we'll find out in 24 hours or less.

I love the first two Hellboy films and also quite enjoyed the 2019 version as well (sorry haters)😆.

Much like The Crow reboot, there have been no images released yet so we don't know what actor Jack Kesy looks like as the titular Hellboy.

I'd completely forgotten they'd created this reboot. It's been a year since production and we've seen nothing. Hopefully, now with this deal, we'll start to see how the film looks.
