What is it with tech companies being too shitty lately?

I've made a mistake by trying to restore a old Facebook account that I wanted to "delete", I even attempted it on two occasions, of course they demand an ID picture but their website is horrible with the phone camera so the pics always came out blurry so they always refused them.

Never again.

I tried a Flip 4 but it had way too many compromises for my taste relative to a regular samsung phone in the same price range, I was also concerned about it's durability as I tend to keep my phones for about 3 years.

I once had a keyboard app that also copied OTPs automatically, could've been GBoard, it doesn't seem like a universal feature since SwiftKey doesn't have it in my case.

Edit: I misunderstood your comment, most apps that I use that send out codes do log them in automatically if they're open, so I have to manually copy a code only if I'm on a website.

Couldn't you copy them into a reply, then delete the bits you don't want to keep? I'm possibly misunderstanding though.

That's one way of doing it.

Pro-tip on Android at least - if you open your Recents, you can manually select text that was on your screen even if it wasn't selectable at full screen.

Is that an option on OneUi as well? I haven't been able to figure it out.

I would definitely get an ebike at some point, it isn't terribly popular around here still, but usage is definitely growing as I see more people riding.

When the alternative method is better, more convenient and cheaper it's hard to look back, I hope I can say the same in my situation eventually when I move to a less car dependant area.

Ever since I saw how bad the infestation of cars is in the streets all around me, I just don't find the idea of buying my own car very appealing anymore, in my small and dense town, every new vehicle on the street is a problem when the streets are tight and people already double park in many spots.

However, I do drive around my parents cars when I need to cause public transit here isn't the best but I try to utilize it as much as I could.

Nevertheless, long gone are the times when I used to watch YT chaneels like carwow and hoping that I get to own the cars that I see, I can maybe compare my resentment towards buying a vehicle to the idea of buying cigarettes or alcohol to someone who quit either, a silly comparison but I hope it gives you an idea.

Yeah that makes sense, I think it comes down to the fact that you might slowly lose lots of details from those memories.

When I was a teenager, I used to recall my earlier childhood memories being rose tinted and almost dreamlike, now that I'm in my early 20s, my memories of my early to middle teenage years are also becoming dreamy and rose tinted in a way. Does anyone experience this? Is it possible that I will I remember my early adult years in the same way?

I've lost access to an old Facebook account of mine a few months ago when I forgot to migrate Facebook's 2FA key to my new phone, would there be any harm in just leaving it as it is and just delete the other Meta accounts that I currently can access?

Facebook wouldn't approve any id photo I send them cause the camera on their website always takes blurry photos.
