Get over yourself mate.

Not the same situation. They purposely went low to price out the competition for years, accepting losses until the competition hopefully didn't exist or had everyone semi dependent on them. This is not a supply/demand situation or increase with inflation. This is creating market dependency until you can increase your cost to what you want it to be by obliterating competition.

Oh, for sure! Corporate greed exceeds new levels year on year! To think they raise interest rates to curb inflation, but then banks and most other companies are posting record profits without any social return is disgusting.

Exactly right! While I think companies like Uber and Netflix did price things like Taxis and Cable out of business unethically, I don't want to go back to those days. I remember having to try to catch a Taxi and waiting over an hour and a half in the cold. They would ask where I was going and just drive off. Cable was full of scummy tactics and slowly introduced ads until it was just basically paying to watch ads. I don't want to go back to that shit. But Uber and the like should have been honest about what the pricing structure would have been from the get go.

Playing through again made me realise how good the level design is. It's linear at heart but gives an open progression feel throughout the stages. Gun play is so tight.

Fuck yeah. I haven't tried out the multiplayer yet, but reviews are saying it works well.

Massive nostalgia hit for this one. The update is crisp and smooth. Free update for current owners. Quake II 64 was relatively unknown and different to Quake II

More and more of these are coming into Australia. They carry extremely small dick vibes. They are fucking annoying how much road space they take up. It's comical watching them drive around a car park. My friend bought a RAM and his personality changed with it in that he actually belittles our cars and kind of acts like we are weak?! He works as a corporate job and has absolutely no need for such a car apart from helping his inferiority complex. Now I can't help but dislike anyone who has one of these.

Reddit wasn't going to die. Wasn't about winning and losing. It was about making people aware of the bad business practice running in the background and trying to get them to change. Also, it would have been much better if there was a clear alternative offered. I only found out about Lemmy through a friend. Never saw anything about it throughout the protest.

Can't say for others as I'm not a builder but when we bought a house that had an unused fireplace, the chimney was kind of just plugged at the top and the fireplace itself was decorated. We had to unplug it and get rid of all the ornamental stuff and it was good to go. Mind you, when the building inspection occurred pre purchase, the builder did check to make sure the structure of the chimney was good for use.

Slowly playing through Diablo 4. I like it, but some of the writing is a bit lame like in Diablo 3. But I much prefer the item drops, art direction and setting of D4. The side quests are too many and too repetitive. The dungeons are also a bit repetitive, but I only do the dungeons that I want. Overall I am having a good time, but I am not rushing home to play it.
