Nearly all of those wars were also lost. This also didn't harm them in the least, even genocidal scum like Cheney are just hidden for few years and them publicly rehabilitated by the opposing party. USA is more and more resembling one big Holden Bloodfest.

I don't know, i never seen starting a war being damaging to US politics, it usually gets their numbers up.

Ok, so something more local but brightening my days since thursday when it happened: Leszek Moczulski finally croaked, a really ghoulish fascist antisemite that was consistently at the wrong side of history. Also in context of pissing on graves, his name means "of the piss" (core word "mocz" - urine)

Most Sami are either lutheran or orthodox. Their paganism still do exist in minority but it's because they live on absolute periphery of Europe and while they were never christianised by force by organised state action, even the private effort of Norwegian evangelists almost wiped it out in XVIII century.

Your commune would be super lucky if it had anything because small communes (especially isolated sects "never trusting humanity") are not the best places to make even things like glasses, not to mention atomic weaponry.

Is it “won’t happen to me” mentality?

Mostly. Majority of people on this site is more or less the same as reddit, westerners. A lot of them privileged, sheltered westerners. For them, especially the Americans, the war is not real. Their grandfathers weren't dying in nazi death camps, their fathers weren't dying from drugs or alcoholism or poverty during economical transformation. For them it's a show to watch on TV, and since we here are telling them something entirely different than the narration they got used to in last two years, they get cognitive dissonance and lash at what cause it the most. Even including the sources they were taking as a gospel before.

And some are worse, those that are more or less aware, that it was their grandfathers who gained their golden age when ours were dying in camps, and their fathers gained their end of history when ours got pummeled by transformation.

Because the term isn't up yet and taking him down for being unable to perform his duties would be greatly damaging to US optics-based politics.

They already proven twice it is not the case, they hit what they wanted to hit. Why do you people always have to take the US wars modus operandi as a standard, where an attack needs to wreck everything and kill as many civilians as possible? When is the attack "damaging", when it's doubletapping the rescuers?

This is what America does.

Except it isn't. USA does not preemptively attack countries which plan to attack USA, since nobody is doing that. USA wrecks and coups countries because they are either trying to leave the US hegemonic control or the ones that are simply appealing targets for imperialism.

Pagan remnants are attested in Poland as late as in XVI century for example. Also compare to christian persecution in Japan, even after over 200 years some secret pockets of christianity still remained and emerged when the antichristian edicts were liquidated during Meiji era. European pagans lasted 600+ but it wasn't enough.

Never heard it in Polish but we generally don't need a mnemonic to remember which side is left and which is right (except in politics).
