And it can be sorted alphabetically in all software. That's a pretty big advantage when handling files on a computer

I have the game installed now ๐Ÿ˜€ I like that all steps go towards a goal of some sort.

Found a tiny typo with the name for one of the hairstyles. If you search through your codebase for "adn bun" you will find it. Its probably supposed to say "and bun" ๐Ÿ˜Š

By the way, I got such a good impression that I became a BMAC contributor, looking forward to testing it!

The game looks great! I really like that you don't rely on GPS, because of privacy.

I am no Microsoft fanboy, but I get the impression people are a bit overly skeptical here.

I think this is fairly obvious. They have no further use for it, they can either let it rot or they can do the tiniest bit of effort and get some positive PR. It might also just be as simple as an initiative from some employees.

How to learn Rust? (lemmy.world)
submitted 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago) by MoonlightFox@lemmy.world to c/programming@programming.dev

I want to learn Rust. There are so many resources available and I am unsure which one to go for, and if there are any tips on getting started?

I am a software developer by trade

Edit: Thanks for all the great replies!

Watch videos from these three and you will learn a lot:

Avoid any youtubers that give advice on specific stocks to buy. All mentioned above are professionals, with different specialities within finance and personal finance.

Also be very skeptical about cryptocurrencies. If you really want to invest in it, then consider a very low allocation. Maybe 1-2% of your net wealth. Most cryptocurrencies and projects are a scam. The youtubers I suggested do not promote crypto, or specific stocks.

I am not a professional, so keep that in mind :)

That seems a bit tedious

I haven't tried cloud sync yet. Relatively new to Heroic

I prefer GOG, due to being being DRM free.

On Linux I just use Heroic Games Launcher to install the GOG games and launch them. Its just as easy as proton on Steam
