I don't entirely see how this is relevant to some people. For example, I don't care what the recommendations are. I go into YouTube and immediately go to subscriptions and just watch what's new. I realize that this isn't what everyone does, but it works for me.

I follow damn near every community on lemmy that I followed on reddit. I follow 97 communities on lemmy with all communities active and none with 0 posts. I left reddit immediately and haven't looked back. All the news, whether political or tech related, I get from lemmy. I think people just haven't found the right communities. You have to put in some time to find them since you may have 5 or 6 with the same name. But, once you do, you should be good to go.

I always start with my Home/Frontpage/Subscribed feed on New. Then, when Ive exhausted that (since I'm a lemmy addict) I switch to All - New. That's usually enough for me. If my soul still desires content I switch to All - Hot. Your All feed can be pretty good if you block certain communities.

Voyager is exactly like Apollo for reddit.

My top 2 are Voyager and Connect.

My favorite is Voyager followed by Connect.

It took over the top spot with Connect for me. Voyager gives me instant reddit vibes like the Apollo app. Great layout. It's super smooth.

Same. I'm using Beeper on my Pixel for iMessage. I use OneCalender to sync my Apple Calendar with my wife. No reason to use an iPhone. I prefer Android.

Sounds like the perfect feed to me!

Voyager is smooth as hell on my Pixel!

I 100% agree. I was using Connect. I just downloaded Voyager today. It instantly became my favorite.
