You can always run your own private instance if that's an option for you.

I was an very active poster before lemmy.fmhy.ml went down. I made over 1000 posts and almost 1000 comments in less than 2 months. Now that the instance is back under a new domain I'm going to do the same.

Also you can't stock parts from what I remember. You need to get the consumer first and only then you can order the parts when the official repair stores have their stock ready to make the 3rd part stores less attractive because of the slowness.

There are usb sticks that can kill your pc by getting charged and then discharging all the electricity at once to your pc so no sandbox will save you in situations like those.

Thank you for your hard work.

I think it would be good to make a faq post with common questions/answers which would include links to other posts like defederation stance, alternative interfaces and such and then pin it +include it in the side bar. This way it would be visible and organised while having only one pinned post and only one link in the side bar. At least that's the way I would do things if I was an admin but it's up to you guys to decide what's the most optimal thing to do.

I wouldn't too because I don't think that there's any technical reason to make the user pay for that. Or maybe there is, I'm not very tech savvy.

Update: After days of thinking I decided to bring back the !singularity@lemmy.fmhy.net too but that's 100% the last non-artwork sub that I will be creating.

Why use "-" instead of "." to separate the prefix?

The dot looks better imo, that's all.

Edit: lmfao, I should learn to actually read stuff before commenting.

Absolutely! !ooer@lemmy.fmhy.net and !hmmmgifs@lemmy.fmhy.net are already back and the next ones to come back will be my artwork subs. Sadly I don't plan on bringing back the other ones.
