I think it just depends on your body.

Worked night shift most of my life until recently, and never had any issues with it. Actually miss the emptiness of the roads and how little was going on while I was working.

I had to move to days a few times since the factory was closing night shift near Christmas time, and worked that no problem either.

Working days seems to drain me more so than any night shift position ever did. And I’m working an easier job now! It’s quite wild honestly.

If you have been doing it for a decade, then surely you’ve noticed the drop in active crackers…?

There’s not a lot of brave souls doing this as a passionate hobby any longer. Now it’s for the clout, to inject malware, or to receive monetary donations. Or all three!

I hope I am wrong, and we can get back to the passionate hobby, but it’s looking kinda grim from my point of view.

Thank you so much for this! I did not know Kagi was doing that, and I was about to cave in and start trying it out!

I remap the sides of the touch pad to be Select and Start, because the damn normal buttons are way too small for my thumbs!

I was such a HUGE fan of Floorp until I saw the main dev behind it talk about how they wanted to start looking into ways to “monetize” the browser. Just really turned me off and I went back to Firefox.

Needless to say, this looks AWESOME, and I hope that more people find it and try it out. (After the early bugs are ironed out, of course).

Good job devs!

Hello! Just going to plug 2009scape, which is an open source version of old school RuneScape. It is available to download and play entirely offline with single player. It is just fine enough if you just want to scratch that age old RuneScape itch. :)

Preserving dynamic webpages (xenevel.github.io)
submitted 8 months ago by LucidNightmare@lemm.ee to c/asklemmy@lemmy.ml

Is there any way at all for me to preserve webpages like this so that if the website goes down or the webpage is abandoned I may still use the web page as intended? I guess I could take a chunk of time out of the day to recreate this in an excel sheet, but I wanted to ask here just in case there is a smarter way to do it.

Thank you!
