My life changed when I discovered I need to put a pot of water on my radiator at night. I was getting a sore throat so damn often, then one day it just stopped. Some serious quality of life improvement.

In Germany we are in the process of privatizing hospitals. This will surely go over great in case of you know another pandemic. You can bet your butt that a private company will cut staff numbers, they will reduce the number of hospital beds and they will do the least amount of work they can get away with.
I can't easily go to a competitor, now can I? We only have that one hospital in the city.

Who cares? I am fine with the way it is, I am just going to be annoyed with the UI being updated anyways. I am still annoyed by the thunderbird update cause now dark reader takes a second to give me dark mode emails.

IMHO no desktop icons is the one major thing that stuck with me. I use KDE Plasma now, but the desktop folder might as well not exist.

Yo, what? Nobody ever uses Gnome without extensions.
