As an Arch user you just push other Arch users in. It's kinda how as a Windows user you set that checkbox that says smth like "update me ASAP" on other people's windows install, so they get used as bugtesting sheep instead of you.
Also I use Garuda and they setup snapshots for me as I don't know how any of that works.

For everyday daily driver business, there’s not a lot to choose between them.
Unless you have an Nvidia GPU cause LMDE lacks the neat driver installer (easy upgrade AND downgrade between driver versions). No Edge version with more up to date kernel either.
Linux Mint hasn't had a KDE version sind Mint 19. We are on 21.3 Are you a time traveler? Also just try KDE Neon. Has as of now no snap nonsense and it's better than Kubuntu since the KDE version is up to date.
I would not actually recommend it to anyone IRL, but on the internet? Sure. You are not happy with the lack of privacy on Windows? I have the solution for you! Also I setup my dad with Mint after Win XP support ran out. He uses nothing but Chrome and Thunderbird anyways. Just taught him how to do updates and he is good to go.
It's always best to try it well ahead of time even if it's just for having that shader cache setup and ready to go.
Also trying to get trainers to run is a bit of a nightmare. I use steamtinkerlauncher for that and it's hit or miss I'd say.
