Yup. Wish I could encourage throwing runners because they'd get more sun that way but I just enjoy having them. They're hardy little dudes

I just sprinkle some berry food on top. I don't fertilize much. I'm not sure they get enough sun since they're on a covered porch. They know get a few hours each day I think

My small porch container gardens has a whole bunch of strawberry plants. They weren't super productive this year but I love my....bushes? What are strawberry plants?

Low quality information is easier to produce than high quality information

Even worse, while people prefer high quality information, the preference is weaker than other preferences, such as the desire to see things that are cute or make you angry

Skincancer.org is my source for darker colors being better protection

https://www.skincancer.org/blog/dress-to-protect-5-things-that-affect-how-well-your-clothes-block-uv-rays/

I don't have the highest degree of confidence in it but it makes sense to me that absorption matters more than reflection because a lot of the reflected UV will be going through the shirt and onto your skin

That's why materials like linen aren't as good for UV protection. They're light weaves and let a lot of light through, still

Tradeoff is dark colors absorb more UV so it provides better protection from the sun

However, the new method has its own challenges. One problem is that the diamonds grown with this technique are tiny; the largest ones are hundreds of thousands of times smaller than the ones grown with HPHT. That makes them too small to be used as jewels.

Not going to be wearing these any time soon
