My biggest fear is that the Nintendo Switch 2 won't be able to dispense coffee.

Corny jokes aside, germs.

When I was 5, and I asked the question of where babies come from, my parents explained to me that when a man and a woman love each other very much, they produce "seeds" and "eggs" which then seed a baby in the mother, and these "seeds" are transfered through a special kind of cuddle. I found it amusing and asked, "so, people are like flowers? ๐Ÿฅบ" (I had a phase back then where I was obsessed with flowers...)

There were anti-drug ads on TV and I asked my parents what they were about. They said that there are "bad pills which aren't medicine", that a doctor would say are very bad, which will make you act in a way that isn't yourself and also ruin your health.

A SNES I have that is so old it has yellowed with age (The yellow color is due to oxidation of the plastic that was used). I don't even know if it still works... ๐Ÿ˜ญ The last game I played on it was Super Mario World and I experienced a corruption in which the screen went completely black and there was a rumbling sound in the background.

I haven't played that game yet! But there's an excellent wiki which allows you to check each game's compatibility. It looks as though the game has some issues with visual glitches when rendering in hardware mode. In software mode, it is rendered more accurately but the resolution cannot go beyond PS2 native.

Same! Have you played the Ratchet and Clank original trilogy? The old games have this special charm to them that I don't really see in the newer games of the series.

PCSX2. It's an open-source PS2 emulator, and a dang good one at that. It has a high degree of compatibility and functionality. I absolutely adore it since so many of my favorite games happen to be PS2 games, and after playing some of my favorite games on this emulator, I realized just how much the PS2's native resolution doesn't do the graphics of the PS2's best games justice.

It is also free and available for Windows, Linux, and macOS!

Cats, axolotls, and dolphins.

Cats because, why not? They're adorable and so funny too!

Axolotls are adorable too. Tell me that doesn't look like a Pokemon!

Dolphins because they're super smart. They have been seen using tools!

For me it's Interstellar, it never fails to make me ugly cry at least twice during each viewing

Pikmin is such a formative piece of media to me and picking a fave is impossible for me. I love all the games so dearly! Pikmin 1 had this desolate and lonely kinda vibe, you're on this unknown planet all by yourself with these peculiar alien creatures and environments, while Pikmin 2's difficulty and addition of procedurally generated cave systems was a welcome challenge. Pikmin 3's graphical style was pure eyecandy with all the textures, and having 3 captains meant a greater opportunity for optimisation strats. Pikmin 4 was like a successor to Pikmin 2 in pretty much every way, though I'd love to see the addition of enhanced difficulty sometime in the future!
