I know this is quite unprompted, but did you install correct video drivers? You gotta install proprietary nvidia drivers and its 32-bit libraries instead of nouveau

Pathologic 2 - it's a really stressful game, but I think it'd be perfect for the criteria. The choices matter aspect are intertwined in both how you spend your time (it's limited and you can't be everywhere at once), and in quests (the more traditional choices, like pick A or B or C). Don't want to spoil any more but it's amazing, you don't need to play the original.

Besides it, I've also heard good things from Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, though I haven't played it personally.

Went back to playing Civ 5 and Civ 6 recently with friends, and even though Civ 5 is much older, we seem to enjoy it way more due to it being more simple. Civilization traits are way more easy to understand, AI feels better and more threatening and games are faster.

Windows has a better initial setup. Often, when installing a new distro I gotta spend a couple of hours installing, troubleshooting and customizing what I need on Linux (even on beginner distros) while on Windows, you just install it, download a couple of apps from the web and restart to catch up on updates.

It'll probably be fine, although I'd personally pick some rolling-release distro for better performance.

In any case, besides the release model I'm pretty sure a distribution you use doesn't matter that much. Usually every somewhat popular distro has the same few packages you need for games to work (32-bit libs, wine, steam, whatever).

Old School Runescape. Kind of a cop-out answer as it's a MMO, but I'm never gonna get maxed there

I'd imagine a lot of people who were affected negatively by 1 child policy being absolutely pissed at seeing the government suddenly go "we miscalculated, pls start breeding like rabbits"

You can hold it in for up to 2 weeks, speaking from experience here.

You'll be fine

If any of you want diamond jewelry, be it rings or necklaces or whatever, look up synthetic diamonds. Far cheaper and result is often the same if not better, as its made in controlled environment and perfect conditions it offers.

I didn't use reddit that much before switching to lemmy (only browsing a couple of niche subreddits that I liked), but in general I do like people here a bit more. At least in my experience, I saw more people here willing to have discussions when compared to reddit, which is something I do enjoy from time to time.

That being said, I must agree with a lot of commenters in this thread - there is a lot of propaganda on this platform and that's a part of lemmy that I have the biggest gripes with.

Remember when they would arrest people who criticized the monarchy after the queen of england died in the UK? Someone even got arrested for holding an empty sign because they feared that something bad could be written on it in the future.

It's a free country, as long as you're a conservative.
