Spotify is the worst example of this recently. The lyrics look especially terrible on desktop! Feels like no one even does any testing for this app.

Can't believe some websites think this is ok somehow... Today I've been trying to find some recipes and so many websites have endless popups and annoyances as you scroll through the page. It's seriously awful. I don't know how people cope without adblocker!

They're introducing it in Europe from November 2023, not sure about other regions. The press release here explains what's in each plan - unfortunately the premium plan is listed here and it sounds just like Netflix.
