The thing that keeps us from living lives of abundance is not a lack of technology.
That's still a ways off, you'll ruin your pants.
Burgers it is!
I don't actually own a Yamaha guitar currently, but I've played a Pacifica 112 and 612 and they were basically the same guitar. The 612 was just a whole lot prettier and had gold coloured hardware (gross)
If I were in the market for a cheap Strat copy, I'd probably get a 112. I think they have an even cheaper one now but I don't know anything about it.
Yamaha really is all that. I had a cheap Yamaha bass and an expensive Warwick bass and when I was recording, guess which one the recording engineer preferred. That may be more of a comment on recording a Warwick than anything, but still. The Yamaha sounded great on those songs (too bad it wasn't a better band lol.)

This is right. To do it before you had to be a bit smart and motivated. That's a smaller cross section of people. Now any nasty fuck with an app on their phone can bully and harass their classmates.
If that keeps you up you don't deserve sleep
I one heard ast describe Linux's code quality as 'marginal' (presumably speaking of the kernel)
Of course, it was ast talking at BSDCan but still, harsh words from a master.
Pedals and effects are so excessive.
Now excuse me while I re-enforce the stage under my 900W all tube head, 4x10 and 1x15 cabs.
I'm learning Cosmic Square Dance to work on accompanying myself.
I wish my fingertips weren't so pudgy. Also the coordination. Much easier on a piano where syncopation is often split between two hands. On guitar I have to think of it as the low E and A strings are the bass and played by the thumb pick, and the rest of the strings are the melody and each one gets a picking finger. High E is played by my pinky, B ring finger, etc.
Of course, being a guitar you have to break this rule and occasionally share the D string with the E and A on the bass (and thumbpick)
It's a lot to get my head around but I'll get there.
