It was my understanding that any mention of him was centuries later but even decades is suspect. Think about it - how in the world would nobody write about such events at the time? Why would it be decades before any mention? A logical answer is that by then the leaders could craft some legend or even maybe just exaggerate based on some kind of stories that existed. Point is, once we’re dealing with a time when the written word was already common, it makes no sense that such miraculous tales would not be written about widely and plentifully.

The first ever mention of Jesus at all is in a writing from 300+ years after his supposed life. Also, Jesus is a character from a religious text which we all know cannot be trusted as historical fact. I think - but I could be wrong - that Genghis Khan is written about in numerous corroborating texts from the actual era? Someone check me on that please.
Edit: yeah I looked it up GK was in the 12th century that’s really not ancient. He’s written about in many sources from across Asia and Europe in many languages. That’s corroborating evidence. Jesus is not mentioned anywhere other than scriptures from hundreds of years after his supposed existence.
Plus there have been numerous figures in other mythologies that have many or most of the same characteristics which make it more likely a classical kind of archetype. Mithra, Horus, Krishna… and a handful of others who predate Jesus’ supposed existence. That’s actually counter-evidence that supports the idea that he was not real, in fact.

I like it. It’s fine if I can’t get any custom rom onto it. It’s not my main phone I don’t even use it as a phone. It’s just a supplemental gadget.
Also, to suggest that its age means it should be replaced is a horrible attitude. This thing can serve so many purposes including even as a main phone if someone didn’t need too much. Your attitude is why the planet is falling apart.
They don't have the Galaxy Note 3 listed in the devices. However, numerous websites state that 18 works on it. Are they all wrong? I would believe if you told me it simply cannot be done. I don't know what to believe anymore since there are a million sites that are full of shit as it is.
Do you know of a rom that does work on it?

So did you do any alternative rom or just flash to get a clean copy? I’d love to put something else on there it’s actually a pretty nice device. I usually don’t love Motorola but they have their gems here and there.
I’m not asking others to Google for me. As I’ve explained to others, I have done a ton of looking for weeks actually. It’s just most of the instructions I find are not very clear at all. I stated this in my post which precludes the possibility of my not having done any prior research. That’s something everyone seems to have missed except one guy.

I don’t need it to be with zero effort, but most of the instructions I find these days on XDA forums are extremely ambiguous and assume the reader is someone who does this every day and therefore knows most of the steps and what the terminology means.
Years ago when I used to do stuff like this more, directions were written meticulously and without abridgment of any elements. Seems today it’s not common for someone to go to the effort.
I’m extremely proficient, that’s not the issue. It’s just most instructions say stuff like “Step 1: root the phone. Step 2…” I’m like “whoa excuse me… how do I root this phone?”
Anyway, so all I’m asking is are there just comprehensive directions for any of these.

I got this RCA Reno it’s sluggish but in excellent condition, so I’m wondering if I could do any hacking to it to make it more smoothly operable.
