We put in a bunch of trees and bushes this spring on our new property, so we had zero expectation of actually harvesting anything at all this year.

One of our raspberries has surprised by cranking out a couple of canes this fall. I'm grabbing a handful every other day or so, just collecting them in the freezer until I have enough to do something interesting.

I've missed eating things I grew. Our ducks should start producing eggs soon, I'm very excited about that also.

Just pull the trigger, we both know how this ends.

Clearly witchcraft. Spells to make the kids gay. Definitely not a decorative method of adding texture.

I used to call myself a "left libertarian" but to be frank, after learning more I've found that "anarchist" fits far better. And there's a lot of interesting content out there that I enjoy. I'm not sure who all .world has defederated, but the solar punk instance is always great, our mods are great (Midwest social), some people may find them abrasive, but those are people who maybe don't understand that when you play in someone else's home, you play by their rules.

Also: blahaj, beehaw, and even hexbear is usually entertaining, even if I have some disagreements with them.

The point is, there's a lot out there, depending on who you're federating with.

Above everything, lack of curiosity. If someone is uncurious, it's a big red flag to me.

"it would be far more efficient to create company scrip to pay them with, it's not like they need anything we don't provide right here."

Yeah that immediately looks way under-extruded to me.

Also that wood stuff (from what I read) clogs terribly.

My wife and I have been abusing our Ryobi for like 10 years. I thought it was finally dying, but then I got a new battery, still going strong.

I always start with harbor freight. When I break that one, I buy a nice version of whatever it was. I don't buy "nice" tools very often. HF is nearly always "good enough."

Ubiquiti has had outages in the past that meant you couldn't manage the equipment right in front of you.

Even discounting the potential security implications of that kind of management, the rage I would feel in that situation is enough that I while my AP is nice, works great, I will never use any of their gateways.

I'm using a 2.5g protectli with OPNSense now, and it's easy to manage, and all local.

Just wanted to share a little success, after some wrangling I've finally got an M600 macro working on Klipper. I've been trying to print some ornaments for my holiday tree (a Christmas tree that I'm never taking down). These turned out pretty great!

(Ignore the wago connectors, they're "temporary")

ETA:

I used all Voxel PLA and found the model on printables. Sliced with Prusaslicer and just added the color changes at the appropriate layers.
