I don’t really trust Apple with my data, but Google is the most penultimate bottom feeding data gobbler ever, second only to Facebook and not by much. A good Arch or Debian tablet, now that I’d pull my wallet out for.

You can install GrapheneOS on a pixel tablet. Completely de-googled, and probably more secure than a typical linux distro because Android has better sandboxing by default.
