I'm looking for an automatic way to search for an instance that blocks another instance. Instead of manually checking the blocked instances of multiple instances until I find the one that blocks the instance I don't want to see, I'm wondering if there is a more efficient and automated method to identify such instances.

Is that even accurate? It says my instance (reddthat.com) is blocked by sopuli.xyz? I can post there just fine.

Edit: I just checked and my post to the meta community did show up. This site is showing incorrect info.

Edit 2:

Hmm... 🤔

You can see the list of allowed/blocked instances here: https://sopuli.xyz/instances

You probably know this, but in case you don't, some clients allow you to block instances clientside. Like Connect on Android, not sure about desktop or the web, but there's probably solutions too.

Do you mean when signing up for an instance? I don't think there's a tool for this; you just need to go to each instance's instance list.

You know you can just block those instances yourself?

No, I can't. At least not on the client I use.

Maybe consider using a different client?

Or you can just sign into the Voyager website, block the instance, and then go back to your other client.

On kbin you can

Which client are you using? I can see the option to block instances in the settings of memmy for iOS
