I don't know how much [worth is] in in running it, I have ~6,000,000 torrents in my db and I'm still using the normal trackers, plus you realise (even with the filters now in place) how much objectionable stuff is out there

You should allow roughly 50GB of disk space per 10 million torrents,

What are the benefits of selfhosting such a service?
Other than the admin being able to read my search permits prompts, of course, that can be kind of mitigated by connecting through a hidden network.
