This is the lowest-effort attempt at faking a sign I’ve seen in a while.

[-] 9point6@lemmy.world 17 points 11 months ago

Didn't even bother to line the second line up with the row it's supposed to be on. We demand higher quality memes

They gave up.

[-] DogMuffins@discuss.tchncs.de 39 points 11 months ago

because it's a fake sign designed to be read wrong.

[-] SaltyIceteaMaker@lemmy.ml 13 points 11 months ago

Because most people traditionally read: left to right then top to bottom

Sure if you rule out like half the world that doesn't use the anglo alphabet

Because there is a reddit sub called "r/youdontmattergiveup" which is just posts that you read wrong

And this is not the origin

Both exist. One is for posts that's are meant to be read horizontally and one is for posts meant to be read vertically.

There's also a 3rd one for posts that don't make sense if read in the wrong direction, but I forgor 💀

Which way is the right way... ? Asking for a friend...

[-] Kushia@lemmy.ml 1 points 11 months ago

You give up, don't matter.

[-] thySatannic@beehaw.org 2 points 11 months ago

Yes I know that and I’ve already given up. This sign is even more useless than me…

[-] Kushia@lemmy.ml 0 points 11 months ago
