I really liked the other SteamWorld games. I’m excited and hope this one will be as good as the others!
Steam world has yet to be a universe with a bad game. I'm kinda surprised at their reliability to create non offensive not terrible games.
I'd argue they exclusively make absolutely great games! The dig ones are two of my favorite short jump n runs and Steamworld Heist is just such a fun, easy to learn tactical rpgish game with an appropriate amount of tactics and depth. I hope the developer doesn't burn out on the Steamworld franchise and probably get to expand the scope of their games!

Interesting. I haven't played the other SW games but it appears to be two different styles of management sim in one. There's the aboveground part which looks like a Banished-like, and then the underground game which looks like Evil Genius or something like that...
