Integration between WordPress and ActivityPub has been a long time coming. It's existed in several different iterations over the years, but the latest attempt is directly sponsored by Automattic, the owners of WordPress. This article covers some basic how-tos and explains some various quirks in the integration.

Last time I tried to @ a Lemmy community it didn't work at all unfortunately.

If you do it from mastodon it works perfectly well.

If you try it while posting to another community from lemmy, that won’t work by design AFAIU, as lemmy doesn’t allow posting to multiple communities.

Oh right. Sorry! Interesting! I’m guessing that’s an issue on the Wordpress side, where at-ing a group ~~Scott~~ probably requires some implementation.
