Thankee Sai. It seems I can't open lemmy now without a sea of righties airing their grievances against Obama and Hillary under the guise of "memes"
I didn't see it as a right wing meme. I read it as her saying bullshit patriotic speech and trump being to dumb to understand her.
What sort of memes community is this then?
General memes. Political memes are very specific and often USA centric so not everyone can understand and/or really care about them let alone laugh reading them.
Fair enough… but… Hillary Clinton is more than a political meme. She’s more than a president. Maybe she is an idea, a world-historical heroine, light itself.
Only republicans ever gave a shit about Hillary.
Okey, not gonna lie here. That was one funny read. But you can change her name with Ellen Degeneres and it still mostly work as a crazy groupie love letter.
That was sarcasm, right?
I'm almost certain it was written ironically, but Hillary supporters can be so insane that I can't even tell the difference.
I tried to read this article but I teared up too much and I couldn't see to be able to keep on reading.
If Yoko Ono were still alive she'd write an song with an odious, racially-charged comparison between Hillary and black people and everyone around the world would come together every year on November 9th to listen to this song and to mourn our collective loss.
