I want to see that bridge annihilated
I've seen the argument that it is actually better to cripple the bridge than take it out completely. As it is, Russia still has to expend significant resources to protect a symbol that has very little strategic military value. Once it's destroyed, those resources are freed up to use elsewhere. I think I agree with that. It can be destroyed later as a final triumph.
Man... I am surprised it hasn't happened yet.
You would think Ukraine has the tools and ability to do it.
I think they organised other routes for logistics so it became less strategically important than it was earlier in the war.
Still though....I really want to see it gone. It's a nasty symbol.
It's not for a lack of trying, but they have prioritised other things. But the more it seems as a prize target, the more likely it'll get dropped because damaging Putin's domestic reputation is paramount.
