Perhaps you could be missing the trajectory of continuous improvement. How long until The Matrix?

You do get a feel for where the important parts of the error actually are

Yes, after decades of scanning large pages of text - code, errors, logs, search results, etc - a programmers ability to apply pattern recognition to screens of letters can be truly remarkable.

RUSH’N ATTACK for NES. I remember buying it as a child and being devastated that it sucked so bad.

I thought that was your implication above about a bullet to the head being your retirement

[-] locuester@lemmy.zip 1 points 2 weeks ago

Then why aren’t you saving for retirement?

Im a big fan of masks and staying home when sick. Always have been. My whole life. Covid included.

You’re way off base here.

The person suggested that everyone should be staying home and I was genuinely curious how they thought the world would run if no one worked.

You’ve got me labeled and nothing I can say will help you hear my position and discuss in good faith so this can just stop now.

The WHO and IOC have rules. Athletes aren’t breaking the rules.

Dont mistake my realism with lack of compassion.

I don’t feel that we need an ideology middle ground. But I do feel that my having individual positions on individual policies leaves me siding with different preformed “teams” quite often.

I’m not trolling. I’m just confused it seems. I feel like I walked into the twilight zone.

Are you suggesting that everyone needs to be staying home and not working? If everyone doesn’t go to work, how will people survive (food, water, climate control)?
